The Hampton Inn & Suites is located just 1.5 miles from the center of Downtown Leesburg and approximately 20 minutes from Tranquility Farm. A shuttle will be available to transport guests to and from the venue.
The last day to make your room reservation as part of our hotel block was Monday, August 26th. However, the hotel is still accepting reservations and you are free to make a room reservation outside the wedding block.
The Red Roof Inn is newly renovated and located 1.5 miles from Downtown Leesburg and Tranquility Farm. A shuttle will be provided to take guests to and from the venue.
Rates start at $119 and the last day to make a reservation is Wednesday, August 28th. We highly recommend booking accommodations as early as possible – most hotels in Leesburg only release 10 rooms at a time, meaning rooms might get booked up by other weddings.
Please call (703) 777-6622 to make your reservation and tell them you want to book under the "Ware" wedding block.
Dulles Airport (IAD) is the closest airport to the wedding location, located approximately 40 minutes from the venue and 25 minutes from the hotel accommodations.
Reagan National Airport (DCA) is the second closest airport. It is approximately one hour away without traffic, so we would suggest flying into Dulles airport instead.
If you are staying in the Hampton Inn or Red Roof Inn, a shuttle service will be provided to take you to and from the venue. Two shuttles (one at the Hampton Inn and one at the Red Roof Inn) will arrive at 3pm and depart at 3:15pm for the venue. The shuttles will return to the venue at 10:00pm and depart at 10:15pm to head back to Leesburg.
As mentioned, a shuttle service will be provided to and from the wedding. For those who will be around throughout the course of the weekend and without access to vehicles, Leesburg has a local bus service that can take you downtown and around the city if needed (bus routes available at the "Visit Website" link below).
Lyft and Uber are also available throughout all of Leesburg and surrounding Loudoun County. If you already know you would like to travel outside Leesburg to places like Bluemont, Ashburn, and Purcellville (like to some of our favorite spots recommended below), we highly recommend renting a car for the weekend or using Lyft or Uber.
Visit the home of George C. Marshall, located just 1.5 miles from the hotel accommodations. Here is a description from the museum's website:
"It was from this home, formerly known as Dodona Manor, that Marshall was recognized for distinguished service in both World Wars; earned the rank of Five-Star General; and held positions as United States Chief of Staff of the Army, Secretary of State, and Secretary of Defense. He also served as the President of the American Red Cross; Special Envoy to China; headed a U.S. delegation to the coronation of Queen Elizabeth; and was the first professional soldier to be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize."
The Leesburg Outlets is a large shopping center that is well known in the area. Located 1.5 miles from the hotels, it is easy to get to by car and an easy way to kill time (and potentially your wallets if you're not careful).
Better known for its location in Brussels, Leesburg opened up one of its own! Mike and I have stopped by Delirium several times while in Leesburg for the good beer with friendly service.
Vanish is a huge brewery and perfect for a nice day. They tend to have live music as well! It's about a 15-minute drive from the hotel accommodations.
One of our favorite spots. Topgolf is a ton of fun and you don't even have to be good at golf to have an amazing time! It's located in Ashburn, about a 15-minute drive from the hotel accommodations.
Alamo Drafthouse is a fun place to catch a movie and eat dinner all at the once. Located in Ashburn at One Loudoun, it's about a 15-minute drive from the hotel accommodations.
We went to Walsh Family in July and it was one of the best vineyard experiences we've had in Loudoun. We highly recommend doing a tasting and enjoying the fantastic service provided by Walsh Family.
Loudoun County is known for its vineyards and Bluemont Vineyard is one of the best. The views are incredible! It's about a 30-minute drive from the hotel accommodations, but well worth it.
For those who prefer beer to wine, Dirt Farm Brewing is right next to Bluemont Vineyard (mentioned above) and also has great views with solid beer.
